WHAT WE DO

MISSION

VISION

We collect clean, safe creative material donations (from scraps and teaching supplies to art supplies and unique odds and ends) from households, individuals, businesses, and industries. We re-distribute them as low-cost supplies for art, education, invention and other creative purposes.

  • To inspire individual & community creativity

  • To increase access to affordable creative resources

  • To give new life to dormant materials and keep usable items out of the landfill

  • To promote sustainable behavior through the capturing, reuse and sharing of discarded creative materials and tools.

To cultivate a community of creative, conscious consumers who choose to reuse good materials before purchasing an excess of new materials for their creative, educational and business activities. We aim to reduce the burden on the individual and support a diversity of community members and goals. We aspire toward community partnerships that will help us grow in the future so that we may one day provide creative education opportunities, shared workshop space and promote life-long learning and creativity.

We intend to begin small, focusing on collecting materials headed for the landfill and redirecting them to new homes through our retail store. However, in the future we hope to grow to provide additional projects, services and resources, such as:

  • Arts & Crafts Tool/Equipment Library

  • Paid staff positions

  • Open studio/crafting area

  • Summer Camps

  • Group Parties
